LOCATION:  Hedonism III is located in Runaway Bay, in the parish of St. Ann on the north coast of Jamaica.  Runaway Bay is 65 miles from Montego Bay Airport, approximately one hour by bus and 17 miles from Ocho Rios, approximately twenty minutes by taxi. ACCOMMODATIONS:  The accomodations at Hedonism III consist of nine (9) buildings, with three (3) floors each.  All buildings have a breezeway in the middle on the ground level from the main entrance side through to the beach side or the Quad Pool side. The main entrance of each room opens from the garden side, while the first floor rooms have additional French doors opening to the beach, the gardens or the Quad Pool side.  The upper floor rooms all have double windows opening out toward the gardens, the beach or the Quad Pool.

Jacuzzi Bathtub

There are a total of 210 air-conditioned, double rooms and 15 suites divided into four (4) categories: ocean front, pool front, ocean view or pool view, with Jamaica's first ever block of "swim-up" rooms.  All rooms feature large marble bathrooms with Roman Jacuzzi bathtubs, telephones, televisions, CD players, safety deposit boxes, hairdryers, coffee makers, iron and ironing boards. All rooms have either two twin beds or one king-sized bed and, to accommodate triple room promotion,  a sofa bed.  Guests traveling alone share with another same gender guest or can opt to pay a "single share" supplement.

CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT TIMES:  Guest check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 noon.

TRANSPORTATION: All transfers from Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport to and from the resort are included.  Return flights to your home city are confirmed by our Reservations Department.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:  A certified copy of a birth certificate or a current passport is acceptable proof of citizenship for U.S. and Canadian citizens.  All others must have passports.   Please check for any other necessary visa or documentation requirements.

CURRENCY:  One of the best parts about a SuperClubs Super-lnclusive vacation at Hedonism III is the fact that once you're here, you won't need to spend another penny!   However, should you decide to visit some of the local attractions or take advantage of some of the outstanding bargains, you will need money.   We will be happy to exchange currency on the premises.   The Jamaican dollar ($JA) is the legal tender in Jamaica.  Most merchants will accept U.S. dollars or traveler's checks, as well as major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

TIPPING:  As with all of the SuperClubs resorts, tipping is simply not permitted at Hedonism III.  We cannot emphasize this enough.  Your courtesy, respect and a sincere "Thank you!" are all we ask.  However, tipping is customary for all airport baggage personnel, cab drivers, etc.

DEPARTURE TAX:  All departing guests are required to pay a departure tax upon leaving the airport.

THE DRESS CODE:  Don't panic!  It's your vacation, so dress like it.  We recommend light clothing and plenty of shorts, swimsuits and coverups.  And if you plan to play golf, tennis or workout, make sure you have the appropriate attire.  We suggest one large suitcase and a comfortable carry on bag for essentials. THEME NIGHTS: Part of the fun of a Hedonism III vacation is letting go and joining in.  We'll help you get dressed up on Toga Night or dressed down for the Pajama Party.  If you have a talent you want to show off, bring whatever you need from home.  No matter what, go out there and have fun!

AVERAGE TEMPERATURES:  Pack light!  The weather in Jamaica is delightful all year long, with daytime average temperatures of 82 f. (28 c.) and nighttime averages of 72 f. (22 c.). 

CAMERA & FILM:  Take a picture and make your SuperClubs vacation at Hedonism III last longer.  Don't forget to check your camera before you leave home.  But if you have a problem, batteries, film and disposable cameras are available at the resort Gift Shop 

CHURCHES:  Catholic and Episcopalian (Anglican) churches are situated within short driving distances of Hedonism III.

BE CAREFUL:  It gets hot beneath the Caribbean sun, so we recommend you come prepared.  Be sure to bring strong protection against the sun: Sunscreen; suntan lotion; sunglasses; hats and / or visors.  Whatever you need can be purchased at the resort, if you happen to leave them at home.

MEDICAL CARE:  A Registered Nurse, with regular office hours, is on the premises at Hedonism III.  In the event of a medical emergency, a qualified medical doctor is on call 24 hours a day.   The nurses station is located to the right of the lobby.  If a doctor is called, there will be a charge not covered in the all inclusive rate.  Guests with any pertinent medical information or specific medication needs are asked to notify SuperClubs in advance. 

ELECTRIC CURRENT: Iin Jamaica  the electrical current is 110 volts, 50 cycles.  Electric sockets accommodate standard US plugs without the need of any additional adapters.  Most electrical items such as battery chargers, lap top power supplies, etc., can use the available electrical service.  Hair dryers are provided in every room.

LAUNDRY & DRY CLEANING SERVICES:  All rooms at Hedonism III are equipped with an iron and ironing board, but we'll be happy to take care of all your laundry at a reasonable charge. Just be sure to contact the housekeeping department and they will have your items returned to your room in 48 hours.
